Opening Discussion for the Integrated Prevention Model (IPM) and SMART Profiles Training at Ujung Kulon National Park

On May 26, 2025, a lively discussion took place at the Ujung Kulon National Park Office. This discussion marked the opening of a series of training sessions on the Integrated Prevention Model (IPM) and SMART Profiles. In a collaborative and spirited atmosphere, participants from the Ujung Kulon National Park Office, conservation partners from ALeRT and WCS Indonesia Program, as well as trainers from LEAD Conservation and ReWILD, shared their insights, experiences, and hopes for strengthening protected area management.

This moment was not only used to align understanding of the training material, but also served as a platform to provide input for improving the effectiveness of the approach in the field. It is hoped that the upcoming training sessions will encourage more adaptive, data-driven conservation efforts that can effectively address real challenges on the ground.
