Rhino Recovery Fund Visit on Ujung Kulon National Park

Rhino Recovery Fund, in collaboration with ALeRT Indonesia, conducted a field visit to Ujung Kulon National Park as part of their joint commitment to conserving the Javan Rhino—one of the rarest species in the world. The visit was warmly welcomed by the Head of Ujung Kulon National Park, Ardi Andono, S.TP., M.Sc.

The visit continued with a discussion session involving the Community Communication Forum of the park’s buffer villages, highlighting the vital role of local communities in safeguarding conservation areas. RRF also had the opportunity to observe the field team’s work firsthand and engage in a dialogue with the Ujung Kulon Patrol Team—the rangers who tirelessly protect the forests and wildlife of Ujung Kulon.

This collaboration is more than just a visit; it represents a strategic step toward deepening understanding, building trust, and designing real actions for the preservation of our natural heritage.
